| Upcoming In-person RCTB Board Meeting to Take Place in Wisconsin Each month, the RCTB board meets virtually — and occasionally in person — to direct RCTB activities on behalf of real Christmas tree growers. In August, the RCTB board will have the opportunity to meet in person prior to the 2026 Heartland Christmas Convention and National Christmas Tree Organizations’ Summer Meeting held from August 6 – 8 in Verona, Wisconsin. During the August RCTB board meeting, members will consider the recommendations of the RCTB Research Committee and determine what projects to fund. In addition, they will receive an update concerning 2026 RCTB marketing campaign plans. RCTB board members also will attend the 2026 Heartland Christmas Convention and connect with National Christmas Tree Association board members to discuss potential collaborative initiatives that will be beneficial to the industry. Growers who attend the convention are encouraged to visit with RCTB board members to share ideas, discuss challenges and inquire about upcoming initiatives. The 2026 Heartland Christmas Convention will bring together growers, vendors, industry leaders and national organizations from across the U.S. Attendees can participate in farm tours and demonstrations while learning more about field production, retail, greenery, technology and industry updates. |
