Trades Show Interest FormSeptember 23 – priority submission deadline for consideration of early space assignment(s) for exhibits, conference sessions, and room rentals.October 1 – Initial selection status confirmation.Oct. 5-15, 2026 – Organizers email selected conference participants a planning draft of the 2027 conference sessions. This preliminary version will be updated. The updated version will be shared publicly in November. Interest form responses are accepted and reviewed through Fall 2026. The interest form remains open to collect waitlist requests until the show. Invoicing of selected participants starts in October – typically beginning with exhibit-only, followed by “Maine” Stage-only, then conference and multiple participation options, and sponsorship. Invoices are not sent to Listening Post volunteers. The show is currently scheduled for January 12-14, 2027.Ways to ParticipateBelow are the common ways to participate in or support the show. Please use the interest form to request your preferences and add your contact information so that show organizers can follow up as planning progresses. Please read the FAQs for more information.Exhibit booth: Rent booth space for outreach and promotions to attendees seeking agricultural services, supplies, tools, and equipment.Conference Sessions: Rent space to host annual meetings, workshops; share research and development updates; offer continuing education training focused on agriculture, food systems, and/or natural resources. The standard conference session is a 2-hour time block on a day and room assigned by show organizers. It includes basic A/V (projector and screen), and theater style layout. See: Common Room Layouts (PDF). Applicants should be prepared to input the following: host name, proposed event/session title, and a basic description. You can also add a webpage for attendees to view more detailed session info (e.g., detailed agenda, registration links, etc.). Note: BPC and Nutrient Management Credits are approved separately. If applicable, select those interest form fields so that staff can follow up with you.The “Maine” Stage: This is typically a 40-minute session on the auditorium stage to showcases topics with broad audience appeal. Examples include farmer spotlights, Maine farm product demonstrations, and public speaking or interviews. Room Rentals—non-conference: Do you need to host a focus group, awards competition, or other agriculturally focused activity during the show? Room rentals are available.Sponsorship: All participants help support the show in some way. Other ways to get involved include supporting hospitality suite snacks, A/V activities to record or stream selected content for the show’s digital library, or something different. Listening Post: Home to volunteer-led, complimentary business coaching, plus daily networking meet and greets, listening sessions, and the show’s hospitality suite. There is no rental fee for this volunteer activity. Show organizers reach out in late fall to coordinate the schedule and activities. The participant directory is published online and there is no fee to read it. Maine DACF does not sell an attendee list.
