Register For US Department Of Labor January 25 Seminar
The US Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division’s Northeast Region is hosting an agricultural virtual seminar on January 25, 2024 from 9 am to 4:30 pm ET. The seminar is free to attend.
The Wage and Hour Division will be joined by representatives from OSHA, the Employment and Training Administration’s Office of Foreign Labor Certification, and US Department of Labor Regional Monitor Advocates.
The discussions will focus on federal labor laws in agricultural employment. These topics (and more) will be covered:
- Fair Labor Standards Act
- Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act
- H-2A Temporary Agricultural Program and Foreign Labor Certification
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Regional Monitor Advocate System
