The Board of Pesticides Control and UMaine Cooperative Extension have released new exams and manuals for commercial applicators in the following categories. If you are planning to take one of the following commercial exams please ensure that you obtain the new manual for study purposes. All manuals can be purchased from UMaine Extension. The BPC will begin offering the new exams on April 3, 2023, at their monthly exam sessions and at the Metro Institute satellite exam sites.
The current manual for commercial applicators for Category 2 Forestry is published by Cornell. When purchasing this manual from UMaine Extension examinees will receive an additional supplemental study guide titled ‘Maine Forest Pest Management’. There is a new exam for this category.
This is a new study manual from UMaine Cooperative Extension for commercial applicators planning to take the Category 3A Outdoor Ornamental Exam. There is an updated exam to accompany the new manual.
This is a new study manual from UMaine Cooperative Extension for commercial applicators planning to take the Category 7E Biting Fly and Other Arthropods Management exam. There is an updated exam to accompany the new manual.
