MASC Program Deadline Extended and Available Funding Increased
Applications for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency’s Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops program are now available online. The application deadline has been extended to Friday, January 10, 2025. In addition, the MASC program has increased available funding to $2.65 billion and the maximum payment per farmer has been increased from $125,000 to $900,000.
This program provides financial assistance to offset higher costs and help specialty crop producers expand or develop new markets. Christmas trees are included in this program.
Detailed instructions and eligibility requirements can be found on the MASC webpage. USDA has created an FAQ document based on applicant questions. Completed applications can be turned in at any local FSA county office. Producers can find their local FSA office online.
