You Can Help Promote Maine Open Farm Day!

If you’re a fan of Maine’s farms and the working lands that contribute to Maine’s beauty, you can help promote this annual statewide tradition!

Most participating farms are open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023. Farms share their love of farming with visiting guests. Below, we offer ideas and tools to help people spread the word and celebrate the good work of Maine farms that are open for visitors during Maine’s Open Farm Day.

To print and pass along before the event

• Download a digital copy of the event poster(s) to expand the ongoing poster distribution. Want to join our distribution list for future promotions? Add your info to our form
• Share the Summer in Maine Publication, coming to a Maine newspaper (July, 14), Maine Visitor Center near you, and online

To share and post before the event

• Post an event graphic on your social media page. Tag your farm or the farm you hope to visit and invite a friend! Use #MaineOpenFarmDay
• Save and share the list of farms open to the public for Maine Open Farm Day 2023
• Save and share the 2023 interactive map and trip itinerary
• Browse and share calendar listings published by some participating farms.
