At the Fryeburg Fair each year in late September/early October, the Maine Christmas Tree Association hosts a display of Christmas trees and wreaths, puts on wreath making demonstrations, and generally promotes real Christmas trees grown in Maine.
MCTA holds their annual Christmas tree and wreath contests, where tree growers and wreath makers can enter their best trees and wreaths to compete for the top prizes in several categories. For the results of the 2024 Tree and Wreath Contests click here.
