About the Project

The full project goal is to better understand the preferences of consumers purchasing Maine agricultural products directly from farmers. Your input will directly contribute to shaping the development of a consumer research study, the results of which can be used to provide recommendations to Maine agricultural producers, food system actors, and public agencies about marketing strategies of Maine products sold via direct-to-consumer channels.

The project is part of course MKT 378 is taught by Dr. Rusty Stough, Libra Assistant Professor of Marketing. Collaborating on this project are Dr. Jason Entsminger, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and State Extension Specialist for Small Business, and Dr. Erin Percival Carter, Assistant Professor of Marketing.
