All Christmas tree growers who harvested and sold 500 or more Christmas trees in 2023 are required to complete a Domestic Sales Report Form and submit it, along with payment (15 cents per tree), to the CTPB’s bank lockbox. The official deadline is February 15, however there is a 30-day grace period before late fees and interest charges accrue.
The on-line reporting system has taken longer than expected. It is likely to be available to use during the 30-day grace period timeframe, however growers who do not want to wait are encouraged to file their report with the more traditional method of mailing their written report and payment to the lockbox.
