Board of Pesticides Control Public Hearing For Upcoming Rulemaking Amendments

The BPC is conducting rulemaking to incorporate several amendments to its current rules. These amendments include changes to four chapters. Amendments will move policy into rule, combine licensure categories, incorporate federal standards into rule, and modernize plant incorporated protectant language. 

A public hearing is scheduled at the next hybrid public board meeting on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 9:00 AM in room 101 Deering at 90 Blossom Lane in Augusta and via Microsoft Teams. This hearing will give interested parties the chance to give public comment regarding the upcoming rule changes. Additional meeting details will soon be posted on the BPC website.
