View as a webpage  /  ShareThe following Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center news item is being sent to DACF subscribers as a courtesy.Applications For Dairy Start-Up Grant Closing SoonNDBIC LogoApplications for the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center’s New Dairy Processor Start-up Grant close on Thursday, September 5, at 2:00 pm.This grant is open to dairy farmers wanting to diversify by adding processing to their operations, or to new non-farm dairy value-added business.Funds can be used to buy specialized dairy processing equipment and supplies, improve food safety, develop marketing and branding, expand market access, and develop new products. Technical assistance or training is required, and we highly recommend working with a TA provider for business planning or market research before you apply. Grants will range from $15,000 to $75,000, with a 25% match commitment. Applications for the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center’s New Dairy Processor Start-up Grant close on Thursday, September 5, at 2:00 pm.

This grant is open to dairy farmers wanting to diversify by adding processing to their operations, or to new non-farm dairy value-added business.

Funds can be used to buy specialized dairy processing equipment and supplies, improve food safety, develop marketing and branding, expand market access, and develop new products. Technical assistance or training is required, and we highly recommend working with a TA provider for business planning or market research before you apply. 

Grants will range from $15,000 to $75,000, with a 25% match commitment. Approximately $500,000 in total funds are available this round.
