Agricultural Water System Inspection & Assessment Resources

If you are a farm that sells produce, you may be interested in checking out the Ag Water System Inspection & Assessment Workshop materials now available on the Produce Safety Resource Library under DACF Presentations. These resources were developed for the ag water system inspection & assessment workshops offered by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry at the 2025 Maine Agricultural Trades Show. It is best practice for produce farms to inspect their agricultural watery system and assess the safety of the water. Farms subject to the FDA Produce Safety Rule will soon be required to do so depending on farm size.
