Farm Business Planning and Climate Resilience programming

Hi AGCOM folks,

I was hoping that you could help us spread the word about some opportunities for producers to engage in our Farm Business Planning and Climate Resilience programming.  Please see the blurbs below and share widely. Both programs are open to all – not restricted to farmers already engaged with MFT in some way.  Please note that the Climate Adaptation Planning application deadline is right around the corner on Nov 3.

Best wishes,

Shelley

Climate Resilience

Climate Adaption Planning applications are now open through Nov. 3rd!

Through the Climate Adaptation Planning program, MFT staff work together with farmers to develop holistic climate adaptation plans for their farms over the course of 3 months. The planning process will identify and prioritize potential strategies, set short, medium and long term goals for the farm, and connect farms with necessary expertise and other strategic resources. Once farms complete their plans, they are eligible to apply for a $5,000 plan implementation mini-grant.
